Good food. Authentic and the service is friendly and attentive.

First let me say the food is amazing. However the service is DREADFUL!!!! I'll gladly update my review to 4 stars as soon as they fix customer service issues. I get its a small business but you NEED to hire more people to handle the high volume this restaurant gets. I tried calling 3 times and NO ANSWER today alone. Every other time I go in to sit and eat we don't even get acknowledged. The wait is constantly an issue... It's getting ridiculous now!!

Went out to dinner with the family. Everybody got their food but me. Staff never checked on us. Had to ask if my food was ever coming. Well it never came. Next time just gonna hot White Castle.

Food was excellant just the right amount of seasonings staff was very Courteous.

Service very slow, they just ignore you for 1/2 hour before coming to give you a menu. Jalea was good but missing crab, lobster, and octopus. Chicken too dry and overcooked.

Amazing food! but service was slow and unprofessional. I had to wait for about 20 minutes before the waitress asked me if I was ready to order, I could understand the delay if they were busy, but they weren't. I think good hospitality is what makes you enjoy your food as well, not just the quality of the food.

Wow, and I don't mean that in a good way. Even though the food was good. The wait was long, the service was terrible, and the drinks were warm. Very disappointing. I definitely won't be coming back here.

My family and I have been going here for years. Food is always prepared with high quality and we have not had a bad meal. The tables small but the service can be slow at times and when it gets busy you will have to wait. Food is worth the wait! Prices are very reasonable too!

I ordered food at 7pm, literally waited an hour for my food just for them to keep coming back and telling me that they are packaging it up right now with the same excuse for 30 minutes. A gentleman walked in after an hour Passed since I’ve ordered my food and when they were bringing food up from the kitchen the employee thought it was mine but apparently there was a mess up and they did know what I order so I just got fed up and left. So unfortunately this is my first and last experience with them.

My first time trying Peruvian food so I can't comment on how authentic it is. The steak was tasty but a little tough (maybe it's supposed to be?). The appetizers were very good. The server could have been a little more friendly. I will go back and try other items from the menu.

I went yesterday with my wife and I ordered food to take and I did not like several things, to start the attention was not good we were not treated quickly and there was no one, we asked for the menu and what they gave us was two menu of the ones that are shared in the street or they give you to take, then they wanted to charge me the quesillo double in the end a problem, and to top off the takeaway they mixed it, I ordered the poor steak and mixed the beans with the rice and the fried planatos, When I arrived at the house I could barely eat, my always in other restaurants have served me the meals in different vessels, very upset I do not buy more there so I die of hunger, so rich that is the Peruvian food, what a shame.

This place a an absolute JEM. The Roasted chicken is to die for. Forget Boston Market!Lomo Saltado=AWESOME.Ask For Peter.BYOB [buy wine in the same plaza].

The best for so many dishes! Of course the whole chicken is a staple! The fried fish is amazing and so much more!

My husband & I went to one of our favorite restaurants on Sunday... The service was the worst.... We waited 20 minutes for the server to take our order... I wanted to leave... We should of follow suit, after another table walked out... All the server worried aboutwas how much the few table left as a tip.. We will never go back...

Stood in line for almost 30 minutes no one spoke to us asked us what we wanted or what we were there for.. may never go back again.

Their Ceviche was good, one of the best I have tried here in the states. Anticuchos were very well executed as well. My daughter liked their Papa Rellena and my niece liked their Tallarines Verdes with Churrasco. Due to Covid, we did take out and it was good to. We liked it so much, we ate there twice during our stay in the Bay Head area. My only complain, if a complain, was that the Ceviche should be placed in a different container, the Leche de Tigre spills out and thats one of the best parts of the dish. Would eat there again for sure!

BEST. EMPANADAS. EVER!!! Make sure you get an Inca Cola

Quality, authentic Peruvian food. A great place to go if you're looking to break the norm. Service is excruciatingly slow, I reccomend take-out.

Food is consistently delicious and authentic!

Great food but don’t bother calling in an order because no one answers ever. If you’re eating in, plan on committing to stay for awhile since there’s usually one person waiting on the entire restaurant while listening to the phone ring. Customer service is going to ruin this place

I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE ! I ordered 3 Chicken empanadas and 1 BEEF. Then I ordered 2 RICE AND BEANS THEY SENT ME ALL CHICKEN. Simple issue to be fixed but instead they hang up on me and scream over the phone that’s its not theirs problem . Then they transfer me to someone who speaks Spanish (not knowing I was bilingual) to try and confuse me. At the end of the day they messed up my order. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE.

I like the food here. I really do but how can I enjoy the food when the waitress somehow manages to ignore me every chance I get to ask for a soda or for a order of empanadas. Terrible service

Horrible. Peruvian rotisserie chicken dry and over cooked. When I went to pick up they said additional 20 mins. Then miraculously a chicken appeared, maybe leftover reheated. Never again. If you're not of their language no way to convey your message that I would come back when ready. Maybe just a bad night?

Great food and service but long wait for food is normal

My first time trying Peruvian food! It was excellent! Small, quint place with Peruvian music playing in the background. Prices are reasonable too.

Horrible service. And the food isn’t all that great, Yuca Frita tasted so bland, rice was salty. Mango smoothie tasted like dirty water. My family and I will never go back we tried giving them more than one chance. Save your money

While the food smelled fantastic, the service was horrible. We waited 15 minutes to place a to go order before walking out never being helped. They need more people working there and they need to be more friendly. Won’t go back.

I would’ve given this restaurant 4 stars because the food was delicious and flavorful but the service was pretty awful. First of, there was only one person serving the restaurant and taking to-go orders...on a Friday night. Secondly, that same server was not friendly. We had to ask her for 3 glasses of water 3 times and when she finally came back to our table, she brought only 1 glass of water. She didn’t smile, she didn’t say “hello,” she didn’t say “thank you” and she didn’t say “goodbye.” Perhaps she was too tired and overwhelmed, which is why I’m urging the restaurant to hire additional help immediately. The restaurant has good food, but it just desperately needs to work on customer service.

Super Pollo is fabulous! My husband and I happened to stumble upon Super Pollo the day it opened and it has become like home to us. It is a very casual place and you can always count on an excellent meal! There are plenty of options for healthy yet delicious eating.

Authentic, delicious, very reasonablly priced Peruvian food in an unexpected location. Reminded me of being back in Peru! The best chicha morada I've had in the USA ❤️

Bad experience, I've been going there for years and they used to have a good customer service but unfortunately it's gone...I'm Peruvian and know how the food looks and tastes, so when I ask for a simple chicken soup it's that what I expect, I went with my family and I order chicken soup and got a spicy soup with a chicken inside, i correct them and they brought me another like 5 minutes after, but it tasted like boiled water, I explained that to the person behind the counter and he was completely rude. It's a shame, I hope nobody gets treated that way...No choice for me but to go to another restaurant because Peruvian food is delicious but if you want to succeed in business, you need good customer service and be careful with what you cook for health issues that can lead to a food poisoning...

Ordered food at 6:45, it’s 8:15 and I’m just getting my food this is beyond unacceptable. We are frequent customers here and we love their food it’s amazing but something must be done about how long it takes to receive your food. The wait time was 30 mins not over an hour
